
I started dancing competitively at seven. By seventeen I was cold calling one of Australia's most iconic brands until they gave me a shot. By twenty-two I was their regional manager, while having my babies.
I've never had the right qualifications. I've never waited for permission. And I have never once failed to move the people in front of me.
A PhD founder called me a witch once. Another cried on our call telling me what changed in six months.
I didn't give either of them a framework and send them back to figure it out themselves. I went into their businesses. I worked with their teams. I built the culture while they led the vision.
That's not a coaching program. That's a different philosophy entirely.
Your leadership lives in your body, not your strategy. And so does your team's.
Years on a professional stage taught me that an audience doesn't feel a performance in their mind. They feel it in their chest, their throat, their gut. The difference between a technically perfect performance and one that moves an entire room isn't skill. It's presence.
Fifteen years behind the makeup chair taught me something nobody talks about. It was never really about the makeup. It was about reading people. Knowing what someone needed to feel before they could articulate it themselves. Every client left feeling something. For a long time they thought it was the look I'd created. It wasn't. It was always them. I just knew how to create the conditions for them to access it.
That's still what I do. Just without the brushes.
I believe that a regulated leader regulates their team. That culture isn't built through handbooks and performance reviews. It's built through the nervous system of the person at the top. That the reason most leadership strategies fail isn't the strategy. It's that they're being executed by someone whose body is still running on survival.
I believe that leadership lives in the body. Not the strategy.
And I believe that when a founder finally comes home to themselves, the business feels it before anyone says a word.
I am deeply analytical about human behaviour. I am obsessed with why people make decisions and react the way they do. I can feel what's happening in a room before anyone speaks.
I homeschool my two daughters, move my body every morning, and live by the belief that rest is not laziness, especially for the people leading the most.
I am a Human Design Projector. A Capricorn sun, Scorpio moon, Aquarius rising. Structure, depth, and disruption are genuinely my home base.
And I still believe that the way someone feels is the whole point. In beauty, in business, in leadership, it has always been the whole point.
In just over eight months of running the Aligned Leadership Collective, a founder left their business for four weeks. The team called once. The business kept growing. Another founder took an unplanned week off. Her team handled a crisis completely out of scope without flinching and without calling her. She came back to find a team that felt like family, close, direct, no eggshells.
